Senni Salmi is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations at Johns Hopkins University (SAIS). Before joining the Center, she interned as a research assistant with the National Defence University in Finland and worked for two years at the Scandinavian bank SEB.

She majored in World Politics, and wrote her Bachelor’s thesis about hybrid threats. Senni has also completed minors in European Union studies, ethnic relations, organization and management as well as in psychology (at Universitat de Valencia). She is fluent in Swedish, Finnish, English and Spanish, and has some knowledge of French and Italian.
